Arthur loved chasing storms. The thrill of excitement when the wind picked up speed, the sound of rain hitting the windshield, seeing the sky darken and almost being able to feel the lightning flashing between the clouds. Life as a storm chaser taught Arthur a lot about the world around him. But lately there was a change in the storms that even he could not figure out. Swirling tornadoes appearing out of nowhere, rainclouds staying above a single place, unmoving, and a certain energy was palbable in the air. Arthur knew this was something different. Something unexplainable.
For days he drove across the country, following the chain of storms, determined to find the cause of these twists and turns of nature. Days of setting up satellites, fixing equipment, measuring windspeeds, driving closer and closer to the eye of each storm and watching from his car. Seeing nothing.
Until, on one stormy afternoon, he decided to step out of his stormproof car, walk through the cold rain and icy wind and finally found what he chased after. The hidden heart of nature’s most powerful phenomenon;

I’m a huge fan of The Hunger Games and so when I saw this I immediately wanted to read it! But as most of us know, a lot of people die in THG and I didn’t know if I could handle so much character death, but I took a chance and I’m so glad I did! This was was absolutely amazing!
While it is set in THG world, its actually like 20 years before the events in THG and the author has gone to great lengths to create such a memorable and fascinating arena instead of just going with a forest or whatever and I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading!
Oh and of course lets not forget about the merthur! I don’t want to give anything away, but I loved how their relationship progressed and how they kept saving each other and just everything!. And I don’t want to spoil the ending, so please read this! Its really quite brilliant! Highly recommended! :D
